About Us
The growth was slow till the time it was a licensed industry but after de licensing in the year 1986 the industry gained momentum and more units started coming up.
In 2024 there are 65 Roller Flour Mills in Punjab.The Roller Flour Millers Association was organised in a structured manner and the team was democratically elected on 1st of May 2023. The main responsibility of the Association is to add more value to the Millers and all the stake holders by means of increasing knowledge sharing, engage with the concerned Government departments to help resolve the issues of the Industry.
A better cooperation has been established with the academia so that the research institutes can be given inputs to keep the requirements of the industry in mind. Terms of trade are another important area that the Association is working on so as to ensure uniform terms and conditions of sale and purchase which will help the industry.
